This is one of my new years resolutions. I promised a year in review So here goes it....2007 seemed to just come and go in a flash.
January we were hit with an ice storm and Portland was on a stand still. (As a girl from Minnesota I wasn't sure of what all the fuss was about) But we all got a few days off and went sliding... GOOD TIMES...

Dax and I celebrated our 14th Anniv. in April by going to Cabo San Lucas, with our first friends we had as husband and wife. Shawn and Dax were in the same squadron in K-Bay (USMC) and his wife Jennifer and I are two Midwest girls with the same interests that totally hit it off. Through the years even with all the moving around we've stayed good friends and kept in contact the best we could as young busy moms. Even though we never get to see one another I consider her one of my closest friends. We had so much fun, It was a much needed vacation for all of us.. I can spend days and pages on this blog sharing funny stories from our trip but need to keep 2007 short and sweet. Jen we need to live closer to one another!!!!
Hopefully we are able to plan a family trip to Disney Land in the future.

The boys and I went to Minnesota for the 1st part of summer. We went up to the cabin to celebrate Grandma Loff's 90th Birthday. As always I love coming home and even though I would love to see everyone I tend to get caught up on the family stuff. I know some of you were upset and I apologize. Next time I visit I want to throw a party that way I can see everyone at once and not miss anyone. Dax stayed behind this year because of work but will come on the next Minnesota trip.
Grandma and Grandpa Loff (mom and dad) Dax is doing good. He is still working for ASM America and as you know his industry is a rollarcoaster. He spent almost all of 2007 working from home and traveling about 30% (not too bad). He went to Taiwan in October and made it home in time for Halloween. The traveling keeps him from his hobbies but was able to go fishing a couple times and duck hunting with no luck but he got out there. Still likes to golf when he can. Mainly his priorities is to spend time with the boys whenever possible being that all our schedules get so busy. As a family we only went on one camping trip last summer and made it to the beach once this year(were only 1hr a way so that's bad) We plan to get out much more and making it a monthly thing to go somewhere even if it's a day trip.

Dax and Sniper2007 (i can't turn the picture upright i am still learning this blog stuff)

I am good. Besides doing all the mom stuff with the boys I am still working over at Columbia City Sports and Rec. I teach about 6 classes a week now( body sculpting, kickboxing, spinning, and abs.
I just renewed my Certification so I am good for two more years as long as my body hold up TEEHEE. Now that Jake is in kindergarten I decided to add more to my work plate by getting into personal training. I have one client but plan on taking more. One of my goals is to get into youth fitness and conditioning. Here in Saint Helens we are lacking in that area big time and like every other small town in America it's sport crazy maybe even more so. I'll be spending allot of time here at my desk studying but it will be worth it in the end.
I am still running and last summer really got into cycling. Oct 2006 I got a Cannondale road bike(my Temporary BMW, LOL) and even though I have allot to learn I have had some pretty awesome rides over the summer and can't wait for spring now... I hope to do a century ride this year and a marathon I guess we'll see...
Soccer 2007

Tanner is 12 and a 6th grader. Almost a teen and boy does he ever act like it. He had a fun summer in Minnesota and here, he loves his sports but still makes time to be a kid. He really enjoyed his soccer season and only wishes he'd play all year. Basketball starts Tuesday here and he's going to test for his blue belt in Tae Kwon Do this month. He loves his school and made the honor roll again 4.0 way to go kiddo.

He's been working on his running for track and field this spring. He's a great sprinter/ one mile runner but he wants to focus on distance as well. Tanner wants to take guitar lessons this year, we got him a bass and amp for 11th b-day and didn't make the time for lessons that's his goal this year. he plays the trumpet in band and like it just okay.

Tae Kwon Do 2007

More pictures of our family!!!! Our new Kitty Lucky with Sniper.....Best Friends already.......

Jake is 6 yrs and is in Kindergarten at a private school. He's learning to read and like his brother is a whiz in math. Loves his teacher Janie and wishes she would just keep adding a grade so he's there with her each year so he can keep her as a teacher. She only has 10 students so we feel pretty tight knit there. He had his 2nd year of soccer played basketball for the 1st time this year (that was fun) i helped coach and we had a blast. being the small guy on the team he did allot of skip jumping and tackling(wrong sport i know). he likes to shoot hoops at the gym and tries hard to keep up with his brother and what other kids are playing. he's looking forward to baseball this year and says he wants to pitch (even though he'll probably have to play t-ball another year) he needs to SLOW DOWN on the growing up thing. Football is his favorite sport and actually likes to sit and watch the games with Dax. Loves the Patriots since last year. and is so happy HIS team is undefeated (we got him a jersey for bragging rights) . Ive come to terms that there will be no stopping him from playing football in 3rd grade. He loves to have friends over and is just a busy little monkey. Were hoping he can start Tae Kwon Do this fall.

We'll My official first BLOG and my 2007 year in review( not too bad) ( I am patting myself on the back). Now If i only keep it up to date week by week or if i am lucky month to month.. Let's all see how I do... I get an A for effort..LOL.. I hope everyone has a wonderful New Year...
