YIPPII!
The boys and I wish we could of been there for the wedding. It just wasn't in the cards for us at this time to make it. I hope the whole day was wonderful for everyone and We can't wait to see Barbara and Denny!! Congrats you guys... We miss you...
ME BAD
A friend of mine, Jodi. (our boys play t-ball together) has a blog and I am so impressed with it. It is what I strive to do. ( to keep an up to date blog with photos) one problem, My camera is a complete nightmare,( Dax says the camera he wants, his cousin can get us for the fraction of the price and it's a NIKON, So i just need to be patient).. It will be a joyous day when i get a new camera. You will have so many pictures to look at you'll be enough already. Back to my excuses for not Blogging...
I have no time, i am never hardly home and when I am I am making dinner, keeping house clean in case someone wants to see it and laundry.. whatever time at home I have left I am reading my Certification book, which has also taken a back seat. ME BAD.
I realize each person has there thing, The reality is my thing consists of Running, Biking, Hiking, exercise.... Sometimes I wish I can be like my friends. (almost all of them by the way) and be this amazing Scrapbook, blogging Gal. I really really want to... Maybe it's like when someone wants to get in shape, You just have to decide to do it and then commit. When the time is right I will DO IT!!!!!
Well life is GOGOGO! I will never complain, I love being busy no matter how exhausted I get.
( I think it helps us to keep as busy so we don't miss Dad so much) I think Sundays are the hardest for us because that was always family day..
I feel once the house sells and we are all back together as a family and settled wherever we are meant to be. I will have more time to scrapbook and Blog. Mainly because We will all be away from our friends, and I will need to keep this up to date for them. I haven't thought much about moving, maybe because In this case I just want to live in the moment and enjoys what is around me. I want the boys to enjoy there day to day. With Dax away on work they have done exceptionally well. Of course we have our moments. Tanner and I had a battle of the wills at his track meet last week. and there's that occasional preteen attitude. But the joy in it is after it's said and done and the dust settles he is "Stand up guy" and apologizes.
We had a DAY of nice weather yesterday. I weeded the back yard completely with the help of Jake.. wow, he totally impressed me. enough to earn some serious money and the thing is even after i paid him he tells me. (mom i will finish weeding by the rocks later) I only wish there excitement to help weed continues to the age 12 and up. It doesn't.. although Tanner is cutting lawns for cash, and doing a nice job of it...
Jake had his game yesterday, i managed a run and some visit time with our neighbors in the culdasac, then a movie at Scott and Deanna's. Tanner has a Track meet in West Linn Monday. He is liking it but tells me the 1500 is so hard. He likes the 800. But you know Tanner, even though God give him a sprinters body he wanted to do the long distance. This is his thing and He gets to do what he wants to...I have to remind him this is his 1st year he's only in 6Th grade and just have fun and do the best you can. He's actually doing well on the distance, i have already seen improvement in the 800 from the 1st meet and this is meet 3 coming up on Monday.
I just realized.. I didn't let you all know that Tanner had his 1st Tae Kwon Do Tournament last Sat. Near Mt. Hood... ME BAD.
He placed third in his Rank for Sparring... I am so proud of him.. For a !st time competing ( i was never one to have him compete, i didn't want to be this (STAGE MOM) pushing my kids. It was a great experience and he got his picture in the local paper. He was only able to Spar because he just passed his Blue belt a month before and has not learned his forms.. Typically in competition you compete in all events because like a track meet the waiting takes forever. It is all the TKD's places in the state that come to compete. It's an all day thing. It was a blast.. We had fun. We celebrated His Bronze medal win by going to Apple bees.

This and That
Well it's April and were still waiting for Spring.. HELLO!!!
We get these teasers which I like to call Fake Spring. You have one nice day(65/70")not a cloud in the sky where I usually try to fit in a long run Mow the lawn,, edge the lawn, wash the cars wash the dog and make everything pretty outside again. only to crash at 7pm exhausted but happy it's spring again, only to wake up the following day to Rain, sleet, wind all those fun things that make Oregon almost unbearable to live. Let me remind you this rain goes on all week, like during spring break when my kiddies were home and bored...
Well this weekend is suppose to be gorgeous so keep your fingers cross and don't call or bother me because my plan is to get my yard mowed, edged, and this time weeded(very much needed) LOL.. FLOWERS NEXT!
The boys and I are busy more so now with Track and field in the mix of our other activities, but Tanner really seems to like it and he's doing well keeping it all together. We had such a nice break from everything during spring break however towards the end Tanner said he is glad we do allot of activities, he was bored even though we did some stuff and also he came with me to work at the gym and trained on his own. I guess that's good they don't spend allot of time on computers and game systems.
They are making a movie here in Saint Helen's and there's crew all around Jake's school. I guess it's a Independent vampire film( I wonder if that sets well being Jake's school is a christian school?) . It's suppose to be a good book but i don't recall the name(sorry)
No major movie stars either, but it's interesting seeing al the set and all the crew..
They had tables of food set up and a big BBQ, It's on my running path so maybe i can sneak by and grab a bite. i am kidding again. oh well. That's our excitement here.. until later.. maybe pictures next time...
